WolfVision's entry level VZ-3 Visualizer includes all the basic features that every user requires and provides the same high quality imaging, ease of use and reliability as can be seen throughout the entire WolfVision product line.
The Visualizer VZ-3 features a unique new eye-catching design concept where the camera, light system and electronic hardware are integrated into the Visualizer arm.
Flexible Installation
The innovative design of the VZ-3 brings a unique flexibility to Visualizer installation. The highly compact and portable unit can easily be used to serve a number of different rooms, or alternatively it can be used as a fixed installation without a working surface.
This additional possibility to remove the working surface is useful if there are space restrictions. It gives an additional option if the VZ-3 is required to fit into a particular room or table design, and it is the ideal solution if the unit is to be installed on a podium.
Easy To Use / Zoom Wheel
For smooth presentations, it is very important that a Visualizer is extremely easy to use.
Less experienced users only need to use the zoom wheel on top of the Visualizer arm as everything else (focus, iris etc) is adjusted automatically.
No Light Adjustments Necessary
The light system is optimized for the working surface, so there is never any need to make any light adjustments.
The light of the Visualizer is focused on the working surface. Neither the audience nor the speaker will be blinded in a darkened room, and there is no disturbing stray light from the Visualizer on the projection screen.
Large Zoom Range
A large optical zoom range is one of the most important features of a Visualizer, because only an optical zoom can pick up objects in full resolution.

Dry-erase Working Surface
The VZ-3 Visualizer comes with a dry-erase working surface. A speaker can write directly onto the working surface during a presentation, enabling the Visualizer to be used spontaneously as a whiteboard or ”digital flip chart.”

Perfect picture quality means high resolution throughout the whole picture (including the edges). It means lifelike colours, a high frame rate, fast and precise auto focus, smooth zooming, an overall distortion free picture, even lighting without reflections or hot spots and much more.

WolfVision's VZ-3 Visualizer features a high definition 1-CCD camera with 30 frames per second and sRGB color precision. It can output native resolutions in all 3 popular aspect ratios.

Firmware Updates
Firmware updates allow new features and technical improvements to be added at no cost! Downloading firmware updates from the internet and uploading them onto a Visualizer can completed in 2-3 minutes, using the latest version of WolfVision's Connectivity Software.
USB Device Port / Connectivity Software
Using the fast USB 2.0 port, the Visualizer can be connected to a computer. Communication is possible via the WolfVision Connectivity Software or a dedicated WIA, Twain- or video capture driver.
The supplied Connectivity 2 Software allows for saving still images and videos onto a PC or Mac, controlling the unit, updating the firmware, adding annotations, instant printing of Visualizer screenshots and even streaming live images over a network including audio.
Computer Input
During a presentation, the Extern key of the Visualizer can be used to switch between Visualizer images and computer images from a PC that is connected to the external input of the Visualizer. There is no need to use a separate remote control from a projector or monitor in order to switch image sources.
Anti-theft Devices
The Visualizer has two anti-theft devices. There is a thread on the bottom of the working plate for attaching the unit to a table with the supplied table lock bolt. Additionally, T-Lock (Kensington® Lock) devices can also be used. The connection can be found on the bottom of the Visualizer arm.
External Controlling via LAN and USB
The VZ-3 Visualizer can be controlled from external devices, such as a room control system, a videoconferencing system or a computer via USB and LAN connections. Older devices with Serial RS232 port can be connected using a Serial-LAN or Serial-USB adaptor from other manufacturers.
The functionality of the VZ-3 LAN port is limited to controlling and firmware updates.
